Blogging about a novel!
A great way to really get in-depth conversations that span all the Honors 9 students at MHS!
The goal of your blog is to discuss the books with classmates, but also to prompt discussion among classmates.
It is absolutely fine to ask questions for clarity, but the main goal is for you to research connections between your books and current world happenings/connections, answer questions that come to mind as you read, and explore the differences and similarities among people around the world.
Requirements:
• You will ask 3 thoughtful, original (“On Your Own”) question to prompt discussion. You can post this question about material from reading pages listed on the calendar. Don’t spoil anything for readers who are following the schedule. Posts should be at least 25 words each.
• Post a quote (MLA format & cited) and ask for interpretations
• Post questions about characters, motives or situations…
You must also post 3 responses to classmates’ thoughtful questions.
At least one post must have a related image or embedded link within it. The link should enhance your classmates’ understanding of the text.
Use your full name as your username, so that you receive credit for posting on the blog.
